Today, (9/15/16) my broken wrist was operated on, successfully. From the moment I entered the building, I was taken care of. It’s very daunting to enter a hospital to have surgery and not know your way around. I had to have several tests done prior to the surgery and I was escourted to and from each floor. All aspects of why things where necessary, what would happen next were explained to me. Although my wrist was not causing any pain the large back muscle was torn during the accident, this severely diminished my mobility. Several painkillers were suggested to me and I was given something that has worked, not just the standard ‘going home painkillers’. I was listened to!! Nothing was rushed and ALL of the staff that I came into contact with were polite, caring and knowledgeable. Because of this I feel confident that if I follow the written instructions that were given to me, I will heal well.
With Warmest Regards to all of those with whom I came into contact
